Lake Minnetonka Area, Minnesota

The Lake Minnetonka area encompasses a number of smaller villages around the western suburbs, primarily south and west of Wayzata, and north and east of Excelsior.

The main railroad through the area was the Great Northern spur to Hutchinson, as well as the Luce Line to the same city. Both are now trails.
